Driver slammed for late maneuver that led to fatal crash<br/>A horrific traffic accident in Beijing on Monday resulted in the death of a taxi driver, provoking a heated discussion online. Surveillance camera footage shows a truck brake and swerve after a car made a late maneuver to pull in front of it and stop at a zebra crossing. The truck fails to halt in time, and then rolls over, crushing a stationary taxi. The taxi driver died at the scene. Weibo user @qingzhoufanyue2010 noted that the video shows one driver apparently running a red light and another making a dangerous maneuver, yet the driver who obeyed the traffic rules died in the accident. Netizens mourned the passing of the taxi driver, and many criticized the driver who made the late merging maneuver.
