The mother, Xu, said later in an interview that she fainted right then, and her daughter’s face was covered in blood. The supermarket has refused to take responsibility and said that the shopping cart was carried by a young man, who ran away after the accident occurred. Police are looking for the young man and whether the supermarket should take responsibility.
