Первыми обитателями переделкинских дач стали Александр Серафимович, Леонид Леонов, Лев Каменев, Исаак Бабель, Илья Эренбург, Борис Пильняк, Всеволод Иванов, Лев Кассиль, Борис Пастернак, Константин Федин, Илья Ильф, Евгений Петров.После войны посёлок разросся. Здесь поселились Вениамин Каверин, Николай Заболоцкий (своей дачи не имел и жил на съемной). В Переделкине жили Александр Фадеев (здесь же застрелился), Константин Симонов, позднее Виктор Боков, Евгений Евтушенко, Андрей Вознесенский, Булат Окуджава, Валентин Катаев, Белла Ахмадулина, Римма Казакова, Аркадий Васильев и много других советских классиков. Из этого беглого и неполного перечня писательских имен очевидно, что Переделкино связано со всей историей литературы 30—90-х годов XX века. (с)<br/><br/>
