2 Killed in South China Truck Collision<br/>Two people were killed and another injured Thursday morning after two fully loaded trucks crashed head-on in south China's Guangdong Province.
Surveillance video taken around 05:00 showed a large red truck veering into a nearby lane against the traffic at a T intersection between National Highway 106 and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, before colliding into a blue truck that was coming from its opposite direction.
A huge explosion ensued, with both vehicle engulfed in flames and thick smoke, which briefly brought traffic to a halt. The blazing fire was threatening residential buildings on one side of the road.
Firefighters arrived before the flames spread further and put out the fire by 08:00.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, according to local police.
