Child Escapes Death after Falling out of Moving Vehicle, being Run over by Car<br/>A young Chinese child has narrowly escaped death after falling out of the rear door of a moving minivan and being run over by a car.
Surveillance video shows the rear door of a minivan slowly opened and a child fell out of it onto the road as the vehicle pulled away from an intersection. Before the child could stand up, the car behind the minivan drove over the child and then stopped.
The accident happened in late March in Zhaotong City, southwest China's Yunnan Province.
After quickly realizing what had happened, the family stopped the minivan and got out to rescue the child. The child was taken to hospital for treatment.
