(WSVN) -- A driver is waking up behind bars after a multi-car collision in Southwest Miami-Dade sent a police officer to the hospital. According to officials, 33-year-old David Marini was heading eastbound on Southwest Eighth Street when he coasted through several traffic lights before drifting into oncoming traffic. The car then hit a Honda Element, which then hit a Miami-Dade Police vehicle. Marini said he panicked after the brakes on his vehicle failed to respond. "I couldn't stop," he said. "The brakes wouldn't work, and then the car hit me. I was really scared. Really scared and nervous." The officer was transported to an area hospital, where he is expected to be OK. One other person was also transported to be checked out. Дубна Поиск очевидцев ДТП (02.09.2016)<br/>Здравствуйте! Ищу очевидцев случившегося ДТП, которые были свидетелями аварии, случившейся 02.09.2016 года примерно в 17.10. Выезжал со второстепенной дороги (улица Школьная), там висит знак уступи дорогу, слева по главной дороге (улица Энтузиастов) ехала машина в правом ряду с включенным правым поворотников. Убедившись в том, что машина совершит маневр на право (улица Школьная) и на главные дороги помехи нет, начал движение, выезжая на главную. Затем водитель резко изменил маршрут и продолжил движение по главной дороги, тем самым спровоцировал аварию. Прошу, Вас помочь разобраться в данном происшествии. Может имеются съёмки с видеорегистраторов и людей, проходящих мимо в момент аварии.
