The car dragged the woman several meters before it bumped into a parked car and came to a stop at the side of the road. Nuo pareigūnų sprukęs neblaivus vairuotojas sustojo tik apsivertęs<br/>Šiauliečius pašiurpinusį ir policijos pareigūnų reikalavimą sustoti ignoravusį neblaivų vairuotoją sustabdė tik kūlverstis automobiliu, kurio vairavimo patirties stokojantis 32 metų šiaulietis dėl didžiulio greičio nebesuvaldė. Vinguriuojantį po kelią ir į priešingą eismo juostą išvažiuojantį „Mercedes Benz E300“ praeiviai pastebėjo šalia Šiaulių esančiame Ginkūnų kaime. Įtarę, kad už vairo sėdi galimai neblaivus vairuotojas, jie susisiekė su Šiaulių apskrities policijos budėtojais. Dėl kilusios grėsmės visuomenei, nes nurodytas automobilis judėjo link Šiaulių miesto centro, kuriame visada yra žmonių, į nurodytą vietą operatyviai išskubėjo du patrulių ekipažai. Jų reikalavimą sustoti „Mercedes Benz E300“ vairuotojas ignoravo ir didžiuliu greičiu spruko nuo policijos pareigūnų. Skriedamas didesniu nei 100 km per valandą greičiu gatvelėmis, kuriose eismas ribotas iki 20 km per valandą, automobilio vairuotojas transporto priemonės nebesuvaldė - sumėtytas automobilis vertėsi.
